The Vickers hardness test is often easier to use than other hardness tests since the required calculations are independent of the size of indenter, and the indenter can be used for all materials irrespective of hardness. So vickers hardness tester is used in most of metal component manufacturings.

• Measure the Vickers/Knoop hardness values(HV/HK) from HV0.3 to HV10 and HK0.3 to HK10.Select the test force directly.
